The Sanskrit phrase Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam means that the whole world is one single family. It is believed that the Gandhian vision of holistic development and respect for all forms of life and non-violent conflict resolution are an extension of the ancient Indian concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
At the Avijai Charitable Trust, we believe that it is our duty to give back to society and to the nation for all that we have been fortunate enough to receive and that every act of charity is in fact an act of kindness and love, aimed to make the world, our own world – a better place.
Empowered by this philosophy, Avijai Charitable Trust has initiated work in areas of education, health, and sports working with the under-privileged sections of society, both assessing needs and gathering and providing support on a number of projects.
It is also working to include under its umbrella other social, cultural and spiritual activities towards the benefit and welfare of society at large.
